Operators using the Shop Floor Control (SFC) App can quickly and accurately track the actual quantity of ingredients used in production by scanning barcodes with their mobile device’s camera. This eliminates the need for manual selection and reduces input errors.

How it works

During task completion, the app prompts the operator to report the ingredients consumed for a manufacturing order (MO).

Steps:

  1. Tap Finish to complete a task in the Shop Floor App.

  2. In the popup ingredient checklist, tap Scan next to an ingredient field.

  3. Use your device’s camera to scan the ingredient barcode.

  4. The system matches the barcode to the correct ingredient and selects it automatically.
