Easily connect your BigCommerce store(s) to Katana to sync sales orders, customers, products, and fulfillment statuses — keeping your inventory and production in sync.

You can connect one or multiple BigCommerce stores to your Katana account directly from the Integrations Marketplace.

Step 1: Initiate the BigCommerce connection

  1. Go to the Integrations Marketplace in Katana.

Step 2: Configure integration settings

  • Import customers and products from open orders – All related customers and products will be imported and remain synced. If products have variants in BigCommerce, matching variants are created in Katana.

  • Import custom items from open orders – Choose to create new products in Katana for BigCommerce’s custom items. (These won’t be matched to existing items). Read more

  • Import shipping costs – Adds shipping method, cost, and tax rate (if applicable) to Katana SOs. Note: This does not import shipping settings from BigCommerce, only the cost per order.

  • Awaiting fulfillment orders – Always imported (mandatory). Read more

  • Awaiting payment orders – Choose whether to import SOs in Awaiting Payment status.

  • Fulfillment statuses – If enabled, delivery statuses sync both ways:

    • Delivered in Katana → Fulfilled in BigCommerce

    • Fulfilled in BigCommerce → Delivered in Katana

Initial import

When first connecting, you can also choose to:

  • Import all customers – Adds them to Katana’s Contacts.

  • Import all products (with sales prices) – Adds them to Katana’s Items.

    • You’ll be asked to define a tax rate (only relevant if you use “Prices Entered With Tax” in BigCommerce).

Recommended: Import fewer than 20,000 products to avoid slowing down Katana.
